Are the Services RNC Provides Reimbursable Through Insurance?
Yes.
River North Counseling Group (RNC) is a Blue Cross PPO and Blue Cross HMO (site #284 and #447) Aetna and Medicare provider and will bill those insurance companies directly. You will be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance, and or deductibles as indicated by your individual plan. In all other cases our therapists bill clients directly for services and would be considered “out-of-network” providers. A receipt will be provided that includes the necessary information required by insurance companies. These receipts can then be submitted direct to your insurance company for reimbursement.
How Do I Find out How Much My Insurance Company Will Reimburse Me for Your Service?
If you would like to find out how much your insurance carrier will reimburse you, we recommend calling the company and asking them how much they will reimburse for the specific service you are seeking (i.e. initial assessment, individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy). In determining how much you will be reimbursed, be sure to ask them the percentage of the doctor’s fees they will reimburse, if there is a co-payment and or deductible, and what their maximum allowable coverage is. Common treatment codes used include: 90791 (initial diagnostic session) and 90837 (individual psychotherapy).
